Nitpicky Corners: The Doppelgangers

 

If you looked up and saw your twin staring back at you, would you be freaked out?  Well, you can't blame 12 year-old Reed for being startled, because he has no twin! It only gets worse when the other boy poses as Reed and starts to take over his life. Even his own mother is fooled, but worse yet, Reed soon discovers that his town is full of doppelgangers!

 

It all started by the lamp post at Nitpicky Corners, which everybody knows as the site of a famous tragedy in the town's history. Reed and his hip sister, Wren, band together with an unlikely group of misfits to solve the mystery that has ruined lives for almost 100 years. They all seem to stare right at the answer and yet can't see it!

 

You will love meeting all the loveable, but quirky doppelgangers, especially Bobby Frank, a shy, hulking freak, and  Frank Roberts, a lonely, love-struck bus driver. This mystery can only be solved if Bobby can pull himself together enough to save the day.

 

Nitpicky Corners: The Doppelgangers will take you on an action-packed ride that makes stops at the home of 19th century Russia's most evil bad guy, Rasputin, to a thriving Regalia factory, run by a wonderful fellow and his "nasty piece of work" partner. On the way you will also see a circus with more secrets than clowns, and find out that the old legend of Princess Anastasia just might be true!
